The Mud Season Circle – Find your path to spring

“But if you move slowly, softly,
pausing to full arrive
at each new revelation,
you can find—among a thousand paths
through the forest—the one path
that knows your name.”

FROM MY POEM ‘GAME TRAILS’

Between winter and spring, there’s a gap. A time with no clear paths. When every step feels heavy and uncertain.

It’s called the “mud season.”

Making your way through life’s mud season means learning to trust your inner compass. And persevering even when it’s not yet clear exactly what you’re persevering towards.

Join me for a group contemplative practice where you’ll get more clarity on your direction, and you’ll share wisdom with fellow travelers on their own pathless paths.

You’re invited to…

The Mud Season Circle

The great mythologist Joseph Campbell once said, “If the path before you is clear, you’re probably on someone else’s.”

But in order to make your own path through the mud season, you have to tune into your soul’s subtle sense of direction.

The Mud Season Circle is a space of deep listening and discernment.

Over the course of 90 minutes you’ll be…

  • Guided through practices to attune with your body, your emotions, and your deep inner compass
  • Offered prompts to speak what’s true in your experience of the mud season
  • Witness to others in the circle as they do the same

From this warm ground of togetherness, you’ll step back out into the world with renewed direction and perseverance towards the spring that’s longing to grow in your life.

Meet your circle guide…
